As believers, we need to seize the moment God ordains to reach those around us. Jesus' encounter at the well with the Samaritan woman is a good example. There is nothing in the Bible indicating Jesus knew ahead of time He would be talking with this woman.  He was simply tired from His journey and He sat down at the well to rest. But notice....although He was tired, He didn't miss the opportunity to witness to this woman at the time God ordained it. And by seizing this moment, not only did the Samaritan woman believe in Him, but we are told others also had the opportunity to hear and believe.

Look around you.  What opportunities has God ordained for you? Have you seized the moment to reach out to those He puts in your path? Or did you simply look the other way?

Jesus' words in John 4:34-38 NLT are clear where He explains, "My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! You know the saying, ‘One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true. I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.”

So let me encourage you!

SEIZE THE MOMENT!  Someone around you doesn't know Jesus. Share what was freely given to you. Don't put it off. Tomorrow could be too late.

Blessings my family & friends! Praying you continue to draw close to The Lord; trusting in His timing for all things and not leaning on your own understanding. His timing is perfect and He is never late! Praying His total favor surrounds you as you continue to draw close to Him.

Love you all!
